As a millennial in this economy, Vernon knows how the grind for success and stability can put on hold the pursuit of one of the most fundamental tools of having wealth and security, which is home ownership. With a compassionate approach, Vernon wants to help you turn all your hard work into a tangible asset that can used to create an environment that represents who you are now and what life will bring on the road ahead. If it’s having enough space for the little one that is on the way or the desire to have a comfortable space to accommodate your friendly group of protesters, Vernon wants assist your finding a residence fit for your life’s adventure.

Vernon has Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with a concentration in Advertising from Temple University and a Master’s Degree in Project Management from George Washington University. He grew up in Oxon Hill, MD and has been a homeowner in DC proper for over 11 years.

Prior to real estate, Vernon worked for the federal government for 6 years in Human Resources, was a marketing manager for a community development organization in Mt. Rainier, MD, and facilitated STEM programs for elementary children through a science focused after-school program in DC.

Vernon is passionate about DC history and its complex cultural evolution. He is very knowledgeable about DC nightlife and hangout spots. In his free time he enjoys dancing dancing Kizomba, Salsa, Brazilian Zouk, and Tango. He is always on the lookout for new vegetarian restaurants and his favorite place to eat Busboys and Poets. Vernon is also working on building a lifestyle brand for dancers, world travelers, and spiritual nomads.
